One of our readers, Bernard, asked us if we had a list of confirmed multipliers for the MBNA Rewards Mastercard in the same fashion as our extremely popular American Express Cobalt Card Confirmed Multiplier Locations.
At the time he asked we did not have such a lit but after further conversation with him we determined it would be a good idea to create and have one on our site as well! So here it is! An MBNA Rewards Confirmed Multiplier Locations list!
For the MBNA list we have split the chart in three earnings categories - one for the 5x points on grocery and dining, one for the 5x points on Digital media, membership, and household utility purchases. The third category covers all other merchants that only show up as 1x points. Just like the Cobalt charts these are further split by regions, Canada, the U.S. and the rest of the world. This merchants will work exactly the same for the MBNA Rewards Platinum Plus® Mastercard® except the earn rate will be 2 points per dollar insted of 5.

Please note that merchants may change at any time so while a merchant may be listed in one category when you read this page it is entirely possible that they switch categories before we are able to update it.

- You can search any data you like, the merchant name (ie East Side Marios), city (ie Vancouver) and so forth!
- If you are searching by city or town name, the larger merchants who are Canada wide or province wide will not show up in the results. For larger merchants it is better to search by their name rather than location
- If your desired result doesn't display, it doesn't necessarily mean the merchant doesn't earn 1x, 4x or 5x points. It could very well be that no one from the Rewards Canada community has shopped there and/or contributed it for us to add here. That means you can be the first do so!
