The SkyTeam alliance has announced that four carriers will join its associate program (akin to Star Alliance Regional). Slated to join the program in 2006 are Air Europa, Copa Airlines, Kenya Airways and Tarom.
Air Canada has announced the following new routes: Edmonton-Regina & Edmonton-Saskatoon twice daily effective August 1, 2005; Hamilton-Montreal (4x daily) & Hamilton-Ottawa (3x daily) effective September 18, 2005; Vancouver-Las Vegas & Calgary-Las Vegas daily effective October 30, 2005 as well as increasing Montral-Las Vegas flights to a daily service. On November 3, 2005 Air Canada will start 3x weekly service between Toronto and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
