Hilton Honors 2018 Program Changes - becomes stronger for elite members, eliminates Points+Miles, lower earn for base & Silver members

Hilton announced a bunch of changes to the Honors program this week  All of the changes will take place from now until April save for one which launched late last year. Basically the program is rewarding true loyalty now and airline miles will only be available from points conversions.

IHG Rewards Club 2018 Point Changes - New higher redemption amounts and nearly 700 hotels changing categories

Not so great news from IHG when they announced their changes to the program for 2018. They have added a higher category for redemption at top tier hotels with 70,000 points now being required at some of the best IHG Hotels around the globe.
