Air Canada Aeroplan has increased its change fees to Aeroplan reward tickets. It will now cost C$55 + tax to change dates/routings/cabin class up to two hours before the flight. The big change comes with the canceling Aeroplan tickets and having the miles redeposited. Previously it would cost $75+tax to cancel a trip and have miles redeposited up to 24hrs before departure date, that now changes to $135+tax and it must be done at least 21 days prior to departure!

Czech Airlines OK Plus is offering 20% off its reward tickets for flights in November from Montreal, New York and Toronto to the Czech Republic or Slovakia. Which means flights will only cost 40,000 miles.

America West will start Vancouver-San Diego direct service on March 04, 2005

British Airways is increasing it's Vancouver-London service from 7 to 10 flights per week for next summer

CanJet has discontinued it's Toronto-Chicago Midway route with very little notice
