Now that we have learned that the iconic Delta Hotels Privilege program will be merged into Marriott Bonvoy by 2016 we here at Rewards Canada thought it would be a great idea to look at what Canadian hotel chains still have their own programs. Of course many of us know about the big global chains who are major players in our market so these home grown hotel chains and frequent guest programs have to compete with the likes of IHG Rewards Club, Marriott Bonvoy, Wyndham Rewards and more! The chains and their programs!Canalta Hotels Canalta RewardsThis Western Canadian based hotel chain not only runs hotels under their own name but also runs several Super 8 and Ramada hotels. Under their own banner they have 11 in Alberta, 9 in Saskatchewan and 1 in Manitoba
Coast Hotels Coast RewardsAnother Western Canadian based hotel chain, Coast hotels operates 36 hotels in Canada and the U.S. Here at home you'll find them in B.C., Alberta, Northwest Territories, and the Yukon. While in the U.S. you can find locations in Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon and Washington.
Executive Hotels Executive RewardsGuess what? Another Western Canadian chain, Executive Hotels has 18 hotels with 16 located in Canada and 2 in the U.S.. The 12 in Canada are in Alberta, B.C. and Saskatchewan while the U.S. locations are in San Francisco and Seattle with a New York City location coming soon.
